sunday 11th of march, 2001 on the todd wilkes memorial cruise:

it's safe to say that i took any and all of the bad luck that anyone might have had on the cruise.

after 5 years of work, waiting and $40k i managed to get 126k's on the clock before a dickhead in a fairlane decided to plough into me at 80-90'ks. i now have one written-off ss torana, the chassis is bent front and rear. the car i launched into, my mates slr, isn't too healty either, it has a slightly bent chassis, so it might be a write-off as well. our drivelines seem all right, although my g/box broke it's rear seal.

this happened 10 mins into the cruise, on princess hwy at the turnoff frankston-dandenong rd turnoff. we were stationary at the red arrow for about 5-6 secs before the 2-3 secs of skidding - the skids marks are 55 metres long. he reckons we were runing the red arrow and wanted to make it too. no fukn way, the arrow was red for at least 10secs and it's not like my car is hard top spot either. dickhead. the cops will be charging him with dangerous driving, speeding (they estimate 130k's before he locked the wheels) and not displaying p-plates. he's is not insured but luckily i'm with shannons. my mate in front of me will be lucky to get 2c.
